Baby Mobile Company Keeps Up with Demand Using Custom Dies

Sunshine & Vodka is not only the name of Paulette Gollan's baby mobile company, it also happens to be a list of her two favorite things.

"People always ask where Sunshine & Vodka came from," Paulette said. "I tell them that I decided to call it after the stuff that make me happy."

For the last three years Paulette has been designing and sewing whimsically-airy baby mobiles on Etsy. "Things took off so quickly I couldn't believe it!" she said.

CHALLENGE

With orders piling up, she found herself buried under bolts of fabric with only a set of sheers to cut her way out. Paulette was familiar with dies and die presses, so she began exploring if it was possible to have her own patterns placed in a die board.

SOLUTION
